Edna Mae "Daisy" Ramsey-Porter1923 ~ 2016Edna Mae "Daisy" Ramsey-Porter died peacefully in her home on August 29, 2016 in Nampa, Idaho at the age of 93. Daisy was born on May 29, 1923 in Burwell, Nebraska, to her parents, John E. Johnson and Edith I. South. Daisy is survived by her children, CC "Bob" Ramsey and Kay Lynn Shell; by her step children, Bob Porter, Gene Porter, Mary Faulkner, Marsha Porter, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands CC "Bob" Ramsey and Gene Porter, her brother, John E. Johnson Jr., granddaughter, Dana Denice Erickson, stepdaughter, Liz Schwerd, stepson, Joe Porter, and her dog, JuJu. Daisy will be remembered for her warm smile, her sense of humor, and her zest for life. Her generous spirit was always encouraging, and her love was immense. A funeral is scheduled for Monday, September 5 at 9am at Alden Waggoner Mortuary, with a luncheon to follow in Bruneau. All are welcome to attend and to honor and celebrate Daisy's life.
