Edna P. WeaverNew VirginiaEdna Pauline Weaver, 89, of New Virginia, died on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at her home. Services will be at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Brooks South Town Chapel. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home.Edna is survived by her son John (Lori) Weaver; two daughters Patricia Midthum and Lois Weaver; four grandchildren Kenny Green, Deb Hollars, Brandon Weaver, and Nick Weaver; five great grandchildren Paytyn, Rae, James, Natasha, and Michael; and two great-great grandchildren Axel and Olivia. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, stillborn son Kenneth, parents Aldon and Florence Noble Pingree, and her siblings Eldon, Harold, Francis, Carol, and Rosie.Edna was born on August 16, 1928 in Afton. She married Kenneth Weaver on July 12, 1947 in Osceola. Edna was a homemaker, seamstress, and managed a restaurant for many years.Edna enjoyed fishing, cooking, and when she traveled with Kenneth. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Above all, the time she spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren was her favorite past time and she loved them dearly.Memorials may be directed to the family.
