Edna O. Chavez passed away on December 31, 2016 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was born on July 21, 1936 in Lincoln, New Mexico. Edna was married to Frank A. Wilke in 1956 who she later divorced. She married her longtime love, Johnny I. Chavez on October 17, 2006 and resided with him in Tularosa, New Mexico.Edna is survived by her children, Edward A. Wilke (Cindy), Scott T. Wilke (Kandi), Heide Emerson (Troy);her siblings, Mary, Gabriel, Irene, Tony Jr., Billy, Johnny and Robert; she is also survived by 17 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by both husbands; children, Dale and Geraldine; grandson, Trenton; and siblings, Pauline, Joe, Sylvia, Orlando, Tino and Emilio.A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Alamogordo Funeral Home, 2301 First Street in Alamogordo, New Mexico.
