Edna Ameche1921 - 2014Edna Ameche, 92, of Oshkosh formerly of Kenosha, died on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at her home with her family at her side. She was born on Dec. 10, 1921, in Kenosha the daughter of Alfred and Louise Thomas Smith. She married Lynn Ameche in Kenosha. Lynn preceded her in death.Edna enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, baking, and was an avid golfer. She and Lynn lived in Tarpon Springs, Fla., until her move to Oshkosh. Before her retirement in 1970 Edna was a dental assistant at Dr. James Flatleys office in Kenosha.Survivors include her sons, Martin Lewand and Alan Ameche; daughters, Ellen Busch, Barbara Plecha, and Gail Ameche; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
