EARLY LIFE

The late Eucabeth Atieno Ngolo was born in 1932 in Asego Kanyada to the late Mr/Mrs. oyoyo where she was the 8th born in her family. 

Her Siblings

The late Anna, Rhoda,the late Jenipher,Martha,Odero,Akeyo,the late Paul Ondu,Osimba, Owili,Wawo,Otieno,oyoyo,Ben Ogingo, Nyamala Ochieng,Abot. Pstr. Dan Wawo, Mr. Abiud, Mrs. Wicklife, Rose, Linet.

EDUCATION

The late Eucabeth went to Arunda primary school where she did her primary level.

MARRIAGE

The late Eucabeth was was married in 1951 to the late Mzee Ngolo Miyawa. She was the first wife to the late Mzee. Eucabeth was blessed with Ten Children namely: The late David Odeny, Grace Akinyi, the late Achieng, The late Argwence, The late JAnet Atieno, The late Pollycup Akoko, The late Rose Adhiambo among others.

She was blessed with many grandchildren namely: Calvins Odeny,Calvins Akoko,Evans,Hezron,Sarah,Sharon,Lencer,David,Ouma,Nancy,Maurice,Shem,Anyango,Otii,Achieng Odeny,Achieng,Akoth.She had two daughters inlaw namely: Penina Odeny and Silivia Akoko. She had great-grandchildren namely: Sheryl,Branden,Sheila and Tainia.

WORK

The late Eucabeth was a hardworking grandmother. She spent most of her time in the farm as this was her source of livelihood.


SOCIAL LIFE

The late Eucabeth was known to many as "Toch" her company was enjoyed by everyone. She was a good storyteller that bound her grandchildren to love her the most. She was a true adviser to the family. She had the heart of giving to those in need. "touch" was one of the founding members of Simbi Otungo SDA Church where she was baptized as served as a deaconess.

SICKNESS AND DEMISE 

The late Eucabeth enjoyed good healthy life until 2018 when she developed pain in her joints and frequent fever. In 2019, she was taken to Simbi Dispensary where she got medication and proceeded back home. The condition again worsened after some time and was again taken to the hospital, this time being Kendu-bay sub-district hospital where she was again transferred to Homabay District Hospital on 29th June 2019 and was diagnosed with lung problems and was admitted in the ward where she was placed in ICU  for two weeks upon which she was discharged and came back home.

On 10th June 2020, Eucabeth developed swollen and painful legs. The conditioned worsened and "torch" took her last breath on 11th June 2020.
