Werch, Dwain E.Dwain E. Werch, age 80, passed away on December 22, 2016, at Maplecrest in Ripon, WI. Dwain was born on February 10, 1936, the son of Emil and Esther (Eckart) Werch, in Ripon. He graduated from Ripon High School and went on to North Central College and also Oshkosh Tech School. In 1957, he married Donna Wesner in Walnut, Illinois. Dwain was a member of Countryside Christian Church in Oshkosh, WI. He was also a member of EAA, and MASA (Missionary Aviation Support Association). He enjoyed hunting, sports (especially watching his children and grandchildren participating in sports), and singing duets with his wife, Donna.Dwain is survived by his wife Donna of Ripon; children: Danette (Kirby) Frank of DeForest, WI; Dennis (Debra Wiggs) Werch of Ripon, WI; DeAnn (Mark) Washum of Carrollton, TX; David (Hilary Dixon) Werch of Carrollton, TX; Douglas (Jill Meyer Fogle) Werch of Neenah, WI; Darci (Stelios) Shackelford of N. Richland Hills, TX; and Dustin (Julie Greenberg) Werch of Alpine, CA; grandchildren: Brittany (Jeremy) Lussi (Jeremy is currently serving our country in the US Army in S. Korea and stationed in Ft. Riley, KS); Ryan (Megan Wise) Werch of Neshkoro, WI; Morgan Werch of Des Moines, IA; Kyle Frank of DeForest, WI; Kort (Claire Negus) Frank of Madison, WI; Kendall Dwain Frank of Madison, WI; Bryce Washum, Brooke Washum, Riley Werch, Noah Werch, and Lanie Werch all of Carrollton, TX; Ben (Mairi) Fogle of Appleton, WI; Danielle (Mike) Billmeier, Katelyn Fogle, and Hope Werch all of Neenah, WI; Madison Werch and Landry Werch both of Alpine, CA; Berkley Shackelford and Connor Shackelford both of N. Richland Hills, TX; great grandchildren: Liam, Seth, Jack, Rhet and Rory Lussi; Willow, Elsie and Arlo Werch; Hudson Billmeier; Alexander Fogle; Baby Frank's arrival in May of 2017; sisters, Dolores Belanger of Fond du Lac, WI; Beverly Wagner of VA; and sister-in-law, Gloria (Alan) Schleicher of Green Lake, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents; a baby daughter, Dawn Marie Werch; best friend and brother-in-law, Wayne Belanger; brother-in-law, Richard Wagner, and in-laws, Reinhold "Whitey" and Lillian Wesner.A visitation for Dwain will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI, and also from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Countryside Christian Church, 1483 Burr Oak Road, Oshkosh, WI. A Funeral Service for Dwain will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Countryside Christian Church, with Pastor Dan Wetzel officiating. A private interment will follow at Nepeuskun Cemetery in the Town of Nepeuskun, WI, with Pastor Bryce Washum (Dwain's grandson) offering committal prayers.
