Dustin Michael Martin, 26Dustin Michael Martin, 26, of Brookston, died on Thursday, October 24, 2013. He was born on August 19, 1987 in Lafayette to Terry L. Martin and Rhonda F. Greer (Richey). He attended Frontier High School. Dustin enjoyed RC cars, video games, cooking, working on electronics and making video game controllers. He cherished spending time with his family, especially his children. He also enjoyed time spent with his friends. Surviving with his parents, Rhonda and Joe M. Greer Sr. of Brookston, Terry L. Martin of St. Cloud, FL, and his fiancé, Alex Manis of Brookston, are his beloved children, Brailyn Manis, Kayden Martin, and Silas Martin; siblings, Joe M. Greer Jr. (wife: Misty) of Gate City, VA, Russell M. Greer (wife: Lisa) of Newport News, VA, Joshua A. Martin of Lafayette, David J. Greer of Brookston, and Tara E. Martin of Brookston. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Marcella Gregory of Brookston and Marilyn Martin of Lafayette; a nephew, Kole Greer; nieces, Riley Hall and Raegan Hall; step-sisters, Megan Gault and Jessica Gault; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; George Richey Sr., Hurl Gregory, Bobby Martin, and Earl and Sylvia Greer. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of funeral services at 1 pm, Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home in Brookston. Pastor Willie Thompson of Abundant Love Outreach to officiate. Memorials may be made to the Dustin M. Martin Memorial Fund to be used for good in his name.
