AUGUSTA-Pangrac, Duane Hiatt 79, passed away on May 8, 2016. He was born on January 13, 1937, earned his Masters Degree in Music Education from Wichita University, and was a band director for many Butler County schools. His greatest love was his family: his wife of 52 years, Susan; three sons, Layne (Deborah), Joel, and Lale; grandchildren, Rachel, Bailey, and Joshua; a sister, Roberta and her three sons, Matt, David, and Chris. Services will be held 4 p.m. Friday, May 13, in Galichia Auditorium at Wichita Collegiate School, 1221 Webb Road. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is established with Wichita State Foundation for an instrumental music student.
