Douglas Reid SalmonAGE: 59 • Cape Coral, FL formerly of Hockessin, DEDouglas Reid Salmon, 59, a full-time resident of Cape Coral, FL since July 2015, formerly of Hockessin, DE passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 in Cape Coral. He was born on August 23, 1957 in Perth Amboy, NJ.Douglas was of the Christian faith. He graduated from The Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ and completed his degree in Biology and History at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. He was a pharmaceutical drug rep for Pfizer, where he met his future wife, Elaine. A natural born salesman, he went on to get his real estate license. He worked at several companies before joining RE/MAX Associates. In 1996 Doug and Elaine opened RE/MAX Central in Bear, DE. Doug was the Broker/Owner of the office for 15 years. After moving to Cape Coral, he continued his real estate career with RE/MAX Realty Group.Doug enjoyed sailing, skiing, fishing, boating, golfing, and life in general. He loved spending time with his good friends and family. He was a tremendous cook. He lived his life to the fullest.He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Elaine Salmon of Cape Coral; loving parents William and Kathleen Salmon of Colts Neck, NJ; brother William L. Salmon, III (Carolyn) of Lancaster, PA; a niece, Amy Goldston (Nathan) of Lancaster, PA, a nephew, Brian Salmon (Jessica) of Rogers, AR; an uncle, Lawrence Salmon (Jane) of Mooresville, NC; brother-in-law, Edward Pinera (Donna) of Cape Coral, FL, brother-in-law, Kenneth Pinera and niece Megan of Claymont, DE; mother-in-law, Edid Luccioni of Puerto Rico, father-in-law Justo E.
