Douglas J. Allen was born December 24, 1959, and passed April 4, 2018, in Cleveland Ohio.

Douglas got married to Robin Allen in 1993. Gloria Travis Watkins mother, Theodia Travis Sr. Grandparents preceded him in death Bernice Martin, L.C Allen.

Doug joined the U.S Army, he was a devoted family man. Douglas had a sense of humor you would love. To know him was to love him and he loved to sing and dance. His personality was everything. Doug would always call his mother juju.

Douglas had six siblings, Saladine Travis, Tonya Travis, Darryl Travis, Anthony Travis, Theodia Travis Jr, Amos Travis. Six children- LaQuan Stowers (Renee), Shamika Pryor, Mia Golphin, Dsy'tine Allen, Dash'a Allen, D'America Allen; seven grandchildren, Asha, Alexis, Miykeera, Miy'onna, Kaiden, Royal, Alia; godparents; Jenney and Lee; and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
