Guinn, 78, of Green Bay Wis passed away on Friday, October 27th 2017 following a long battle with dementia.He was born on December 22, 1938 to Merle and Estella in Mc Clouth, KS. Doug graduated from Tonganoxie High School, Tonganoxie KS and attended Ottawa University, Ottawa KS. He served proudly in the United States Navy on the aircraft carrier Coral Sea.Doug worked for ARA Food service at Ottawa University, Central College, Pella, IA, and St. Norbert College, De Pere. He worked at Paper Converting in accounting for 32 years. Doug was president of De Pere Youth Hockey, was an avid bicyclist, having several 6000 mile years, had a Hole in One at Highland Ridge in De Pere. Doug is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sally. Sons, Jim (Tammy) Mike (Sara), special grandsons Christopher and Alexander. Brother Dean (Lavera) Cascade, Wis. sister Maybelle, Ottawa KS. also many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joan, mother-in-law Grace Zirzow. The family sends a big thank you to the staff of Bishop Court, Green Bay, Lakeland Care, and Heartland Hospice. Per Doug's wishes, his body was donated to the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine for research.
