Dorothy "Dot" L. ChadwickJune 17, 1936 - March 3, 2014Dorothy "Dot" L. Chadwick, age 77, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away on March 3, 2014 at a local hospital following complications of a stroke. Dorothy was born on June 17, 1936 in Polson, Montana to Flavian "Flanagan" J. and Anona (Oleson) Belisle. Dot's family moved to Pocatello, Idaho. She attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and graduated from Pocatello High School. Dot married Robert Dale Chadwick in Pocatello. Together they had two children, Robert Dale Jr and Paul James. Among Dot's hobbies, she enjoyed camping, bowling, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She loved to garden and enjoyed doing numerous arts and crafts such as knitting, crocheting, sewing and macrame. She made beautiful, quilts, afghans, clothes and even a wedding dress! She also loved playing with her dog Toshi. Dot belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles 119, and the Bowling League for many years.Dot was preceded in death by her parents, her dear husband Robert Dale Chadwick; sons, Paul and Bob. Dot is survived by her grandchildren, Kristin, James Ben, Annie and Amanda; and daughter-in-laws, Karen and Carrie. Dot is also survived by eight great grandchildren and a special sister, Bernice Korwald.A viewing with a Catholic Vigil Service will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 10th ad Downard Funeral Home, 241 North Garfield Ave., Pocatello, Idaho. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Community, St. Joseph's Church, 421 North Hayes Ave in Pocatello. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
