DERRY - Dorothea R. ""Dot"" Brown Gaudette, 96, formerly of Derry, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at the Peabody Home in Franklin.She was born on Oct. 5, 1920, in Manchester, a daughter of the late Dana and Alice (Knowles) Cheney.Mrs. Brown Gaudette was a fabulous cook. She loved to keep a pristine home and took great pride in caring for her family. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.She is survived by her four sons, Robert G. Brown of Tilton, Richard Brown of Lady Lake, Fla., Randolph Brown of Sandwich, and Thomas Brown of Derry; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.She was predeceased by her first husband, Bernard Brown, in 1986, and her second husband, Victor Gaudette..SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, where she will be laid to rest with her first husband, Bernard.
