Ferrante, Doris Irene Doris Irene Ferrante, 94, of Gold Canyon, AZ, passed away peacefully on 10/28/17 surrounded by her loved ones. Doris was born on July 10, 1923 in Scottville, Michigan to Ray and Hazel Wahr. She is survived by her children: Craig (Vickilyn) Van Sickle, Gary Van Sickle and Donna (James) Ekren, stepdaughters Pat Politi, Janice (Les) Richards and Olivia McKeown and stepson Robert Johann. Doris is fondly remembered by her 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all the lives she has touched. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday November 2, 2017 at Gold Canyon United Methodist Church, 6640 S. Kings Ranch Road, Gold Canyon, AZ 85118. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 E Main Street, Mesa, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gold Canyon United Methodist Church Mission Center.
