Doris G. BrownDoris G. Brown, 99, formerly of Waveland, passed away surrounded by her family, Friday, May 26th at Whitlock Place in Crawfordsville. She was born on February 14, 1918 in Petit, Indiana to the late Cecil D. Miller. On April 13, 1940 she married Paul B. Brown in Mulberry, Indiana. Paul passed away October 27, 1971.Doris was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, working in her yard, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Browns Valley Christian Church.She is survived by her Daughter; Sheena (Bill) Ferguson, Waveland, three grandchildren; Brian (Angela) Ferguson, Orleans, Stacey (Steve) Paddock, Rockville, Jason (Jill) Ferguson, Rockville, seven grandchildren; Levi, Shiloh, Jessica, Justan, Jacob, Jarett, and Jackie.She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Violet LaGuire.Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Browns Valley Christian Church, 9011 S. SR 47, Crawfordsville, IN 47933 with Pastor David Finch officiating. The committal service will take place in Rossville Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Public visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30th at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, 301 East Green Street Waveland, Indiana 47989.
