Doris Eimicke Donovan July 2, 1928 - August 1, 2016 Cary Doris Eimicke Donovan died peacefully in Findlay, OH on August 1st at the age of 88. Doris is survived by her children, Michael Donovan (Christine Donovan) from Coronado, CA, Nancy Proctor (Wayne Proctor) from Findlay, OH, and Sharon Busone (Anthony Busone) from Troy, NY. Also survived by her grandchildren, Wayne Proctor Jr., Erin Reinhart, Christopher Proctor, Peter Donovan, Anthony Busone, Elizabeth Donovan, Alison Clemente, and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, G. Patrick Donovan, her parents, Richard S. and Ruth Eimicke, and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Doris was born on July 2, 1928 in Dallas, TX to Richard S. and Ruth Eimicke and lived in Phoenix, AZ for most of her childhood. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a BS in Nursing. She married G. Patrick Donovan after they met at Case Western Reserve University. After several moves during Doris and Patrick's over 50 year marriage, they settled in Cary, NC and resided there almost 30 years. Doris worked as an RN in varied capacities and taught nursing courses at Sage College in Albany, NY. She was an active, involved, and dedicated member of St. Michael's parish in Cary, NC. She enjoyed playing bridge and would often volunteer her time at church and health facilities. A funeral is scheduled at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at St. Michael's Church in Cary, NC. Doris' family invites you to join them at a reception to follow in the parish center. Monsignor Wall will officiate the mass. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Doris' life.
