Doris A. Ciesielski1930 - 2016Doris A. Ciesielski, 85, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, at her residence.She was born on April 25, 1930, to the late Edward and Anna (Schoettler) Fonk in Somers, Wis. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha.On May 29, 1948, she married John Ciesielski at St. George Catholic Church.Doris worked as a waitress at the Hotel Dayton and at the Hob Nob Restaurant. She worked at Bernacchi Drug Store and longest at Ace Hardware in the gift department for 20 years, retiring in 1990.Doris was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.Doris enjoyed cooking, doing crossword puzzles and word search puzzles and crocheting. She loved being a snowbird going to Las Vegas for 30 years. Doris also enjoyed entertaining and spending time with her family.Doris is survived by her loving husband, her children Dan E. (Rhonda) Ciesielski, Vickie (Wes) Stehlik and Sharon Ochoa all of Kenosha, her grandchildren John Flannery, Dina Roberts, Mark Flannery, Jamey Olsen, Jodi Lessner, Lora Mudge and Keri Ciesielski, her great grandchildren Peyton, Sarai, Jake, McKenna, Jordan, Kahlen, Tyler, Tearsa, Brandon and Alyssa and her great great granddaughter Emerson.A sister Ruth Becker precedes her in death.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 12 p.m. (Noon) at St. Mary's Catholic Church (corner of 39th Avenue and 74th St.). Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of Mass.
