Erickson, Doris C.Doris C. Erickson, age 87, a former Valders resident, died Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital, Sheboygan.She was born on April 29, 1929 in the town of Cato, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Oscar and Hilda (Pederson) Halverson. Doris was a graduate of Valders High School, Class of 1946. On June 3, 1950 she married Kennard Erickson at Gjerpen Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2006. Her most enjoyable times were those spent with her immediate family as well as her extended family. She was an active lifelong member of Faith Lutheran Church.Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law: David Erickson, Fond du Lac, Terry & Sue Erickson, Kiel; four grandchildren: Ashley (Scott) King, Livonia, MI., Amber (Justin) Summeril, Fond du Lac, Amy Erickson & her fiancé Justin Fager, Wrightstown, Adam Erickson and special friend Carly Sauld, DePere; two great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; one great grandchild due in October; and a sister-in-law: Alice Mae Leider, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Joy Erickson; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Robert Halverson, Edwin (Ruth) Halverson, Lester (Dorothy) Halverson and a sister and brother-in-law: Edna (Gary) Lutze, along with numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. Officiating at the Service will be the Rev.
