Donna Jean Stamper, 58, of Indianapolis passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019. She was born in Indianapolis to Betty Barr on November 18, 1960.

Donna is survived by her sister, Teresa Kirkwood (John) Kidd; brother, David Kirkwood; daughters, Kathy Stamper and Tiffany Leake; Son, James Leake; granddaughters, Ceaira Stamper, Cassidy Cobb and Abriawna Nizhoni Leake; grandsons, James Peterson Leake “JP” and Jayden Haggard . She was preceded in death by her Mother, Betty Barr (Kirkwood) and grandson Alex Jacob “AJ” Leake.

Donna was raised in Indiana. She lived in Virginia for a short time where she gave birth to her first- born child before moving back to Indiana permanently; where she gave birth to her son and second daughter.

Donna loved Elvis Presley and country music. She enjoyed concerts. She loved collecting angels and butterflies. She enjoyed time with her family, especially around Christmas time. She also loved word searches and playing cards. Her favorite pass time was watching Jeopardy, The Price is Right, and Criminal Minds.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Kathy and Tiffany’s home on Sunday, October 27 and starting at 4:00 PM. Food dishes are encouraged.
