Jul 14, 1936 - Mar 17, 2014
This obituary is administered by:
Donna Rae Kincheloe Schmidt, 77 passed away on Monday March 17, 2014, St. Patrick's Day. Her daughters and granddaughter were by her side. She left us in her own way, "unexpectedly and quickly". She lived a full and wonderful life. Donna was a great Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandma (GG), Daughter, Sister, Aunt and friend to many. Donna was born on July 14, 1936 in Caldwell, Idaho. She was the first born daughter of Sam (Po) and Verla (Nanny) Kincheloe. Donna's family, including her sister Sandi, spent the majority of their lives in Nampa, Idaho. Her father Sam, was a well-respected real estate businessman (Splinter Agency) in Nampa. Most may remember him as a member of the "Super Thrift Drug Coffee Club". Donna graduated from Nampa High School, class of 1954. She was looking forward to her 60th year class reunion, this summer. Donna had moved from Nampa to Meridian, to be closer to her daughters. Donna started her career in the banking business, but soon moved into the medical management and administration business. She spent her years with the Caldwell Medical Group, Mercy Medical Center and First Health. Donna was an active and fun person. She was always the "life of any PARTY", even if it was an office holiday party, she was at. She would even play Santa Claus for Christmas. Jackpot was a favorite "hotspot". She enjoyed softball, bowling and other outdoor activities. She passed her outgoing personality on to her two daughters, Traci and Shelli. Her curiosity seemed to always get her in trouble…if there were sirens (fire trucks)…she would come. If you wanted an update or new news…you called Donna. She continued to enjoy and share special occasions and events with her daughters and their family and friends. Donna retired and continued to live her life and sharing in family and friend festivities. She had some challenges and was forced to slow down over the last few years. Donna passed away on St. Patrick's Day, her daughter's birthday. We will continue to celebrate Donna's life, Shelli's Birthday and St. Patrick's Day…Forever!Donna has many loving family and friends. We are all so blessed to have had her in our lives. Mother, we love you and will miss you always! Donna is survived by her two daughters, Traci Hoots (Kay) and Shelli Stayner (Paris), granddaughter Kali Baszler (Ricky) and great-grandson Braedon, and a soon to be new "Baby Baszler", long-time dear friend, adopted sister Peggy Morrison, her sister Sandi Thompson (Jay), her nieces Lori Lynn (John), Jodi Fergusson (Jerry) and nephew Michael Thompson, cousin, Barbara Smith (Smitty), step-siblings Barbara Farmer and Freddy Farmer.
