Tyczkowski, Donna Mary (Wagnitz)Donna Mary (Wagnitz) Tyczkowski, died Monday, December 26, 2016 at the age of 84. She was born on June 17, 1932, to Henry and Annette (Burkhardt) Wagnitz. Donna was the youngest of six children. She cherished and was very close to her parents, both of whom preceded her in death.In 1950, Donna graduated from St. Joseph Academy. On August 11, 1962, she married Bernard Tyczkowski. She and Bernard had three children, Todd, Tim and Tami. After Bernard passed away following a courageous battle with cancer on February 21, 1976, Donna and her children moved to Ashwaubenon.Donna took businesses and computer classes to re-enter the job market and became known for her hard work, perseverance, and dedication to everything she set forth to achieve. She had worked for Premontre High School, State of Wisconsin, YWCA, YMCA, and home health care before becoming a parish secretary at St. Matthew Parish, where she retired at the age of 72 after 15 years.Donna enjoyed working on her computer; visiting with friends and neighbors, especially Ellen Spietz; watching Packer games and most of all, spending time with her family, granddaughters and great-grandchildren. She had a very deep love for her family and they were always her number one priority. Donna had a wonderful sense of humor which kept her strong along with her deep devotion to God. She served as a Eucharistic Minister for Nativity of Our Lord Parish and San Luis Nursing Home in her free time.Survivors include two sons, Todd Tyczkowski and Tim (Yvonne) Tyczkowski; one daughter, Tami (Don) Laabs; three granddaughters, Amanda Tyczkowski (fiancé, Nathan Eicher), Jennifer Tyczkowski (special friend, Brandon), Brianna Lade (special friend, Tom); great-granddaughter, Leighenna; great-grandson, Spencer. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Ruth Sprague and many other relatives, nieces and nephews.Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Lee (Mercedes) Wagnitz, Kenneth (Marge) Wagnitz, Darrell (Isabel "Tiny") Wagnitz, Keith Wagnitz, Merl (Jacqueline) Wagnitz; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Tillie Tyczkowski. She was also preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, Peter and Louis Burkhardt, and Fred and Emily Wagnitz whom she never met but always felt a closeness to.Friends may call at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida St., from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Father Tim Shillcox O.Praem officiating.
