Buss, Donna M.Donna M. Buss, age 78, formerly of Manitowoc and currently a resident of Appleton, died on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton.Donna was born on August 21, 1938 in Manitowoc Rapids, daughter of the late Francis and Norma (Fessler) Trainor. She graduated with the class of 1956 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On June 8, 1957, she married LeRoy C. Buss at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2005. Donna was formerly a Religious Education Coordinator at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She was a current member of St. Pius X, Appleton and a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Manitowoc. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her granddaughters and friends. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Steven L. (Julie) Buss, Dallas, TX; one daughter and son-in-law: Sharon M. (Keith) Preston, Appleton; two granddaughters: Erin and Emily Preston; one grandson: Tony Isherwood, Sturgeon Bay; one brother and two sisters-in-law: Charles (Sandra) Trainor, Green Bay; Beatrice Buss, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Francis and Norma Trainor; her husband: Leroy Buss; one brother-in-law: Donald Buss.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. The Rev. David Pleier, Rev. Gerald Foley and Rev. Thomas Farrell will concelebrate the Mass of Christian Burial, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
