Thorpe, Donald Frank 87, of Mesa, AZ passed away peacefully on Dec 2, 2016 with family at his side. He was born on Oct 9, 1929 in Schenectady, NY. He moved to AZ in 1951 while serving in the military at Williams Air Force Base. He met the love of his life Mildred in Mesa and they married in 1952. Mildred preceded him on April 27, 2016. In 1981 he served as Past Master of Oriental Lodge #20, Mesa. He is survived by his children Clifford Thorpe, Gail Freye, Cheryl Renckly, Brian Thorpe, and Laura Steward; his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. He is also preceded by his parents, younger brother and sister. We will miss his smile, laugh and sense of humor.
