Donald Eckhoff 1948 - 2016Donald G. Eckhoff, age 68, of Petersburg, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center surrounded by his family and friends. Donald is survived by his spouse, Steve Willis; son, Jason (Amy) Eckhoff; sister, Mary (Dwayne) Rose; brother, Mike Eckhoff; granddaughter, Emily (Nick) Williams, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and two brothers, Bill and Fred.Donald was born on September 15, 1948 the son of Bill and Helen Eckhoff. He worked for State of Illinois, Division of Child Support Services for over 32 years. Dapper Don was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and the CEO of Dapperland, "Where the Fun is Always Free." Visitation for Donald will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Mott & Henning Funeral Home from 4-7 PM. The family will be having a private funeral service at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to Menard County Animal Control.
