Donald E. "Don" Godlove, 90, Monticello, passed away at 3:45 p.m., Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at the Indiana University Health, White Memorial Hospital of Monticello.He was born on Nov. 23, 1925, in Idaville to the late Steward Dale and Margarett Irene (Friday) Godlove. On Sept. 16, 1944, at the United Methodist Church of Idaville, he married Luella B. "Belle" Wright; she passed away on June 12, 2011.Don had farmed and lived in Idaville all his life.He was an active member of the Idaville Church of God and had served numerous roles for his church.Surviving are daughter, Gwen (Dale) Stoll, Bristol; son, Dennis "Denny" (Zelda) Godlove, Brownsburg; grandchildren, Andy (Sherry) Stoll, Amy (Doug) Gardner, Rachel (Steve) Baute, Patrick (Jessica) Godlove, Jon (Takesha) Stoll, Destinee Stoll, and Christian Stoll; great-grandchildren, Melinda and Kristy Stoll, Kayla and Erica Gardner, Jeffery, Zane, Daijon, Amari, and Sofia Stoll, and Evan and Zack Baute; and sister, Margaret Arlene Simpson, Del City, Okla.Don was preceded in death by grandson, Ben Stoll; stillborn great-grandson, Alan Douglas Gardner; and brother, Virgil Godlove.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday at the Miller–Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello. Celebration of Life Service will be at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Friday.Burial will follow at the Idaville Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Idaville Church of God of Idaville.
