Dolores HansenDolores (Dee) Irene Hansen passed away on October 1, 2017 at Avera Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. Dolores was a life time resident of Sioux Falls. She was born on July 22, 1945. Dee married her husband, Lawrence (Larry) M. Hansen on April 4, 1964. They raised one son, Timothy S. Hansen (Becky) and two daughters, ReNae E. Hansen-Kruid (Mark), Hiedi Roberts (Dave). She dearly loved and adored her seven grandchildren: Tori Gordon, Jessica Halling, Kayla Wilmarth, Kylee Wilmarth, Allie Roberts, Halie Kruid, Hanna Kruid and a great grandchild, Phillip; her siblings, Art Buckneberg (Uncle Buck), Charlotte Graham; and Dean (Norval) Buckneberg. Dolores loved and cared for her work family at Queen City Wholesale where she was employed for 29 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Arndt and Helen Buckneberg, and her brother, Roger Buckneberg. Dee was known for her kindness and caring heart. She will be forever remembered. A memorial service for Dee will be on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11:00 at East Side Lutheran Church. The family will be present to greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home. www.heritagesfsd.com.
