DOLORES BERNARD1930 – 2017Dolores Marie Ann Bernard, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Villas in Prince Albert, SK. Dolores was born on Wednesday, October 29, 1930 in North Battleford, SK to Reynold and Ernestine (nee Reichle) Nesselbeck. Dolores grew up in Battleford, SK. She attended St. Vital Elementary School in Battleford and graduated from the Convent in Battleford, in 1949. After high school she attended and graduated from Robertson Secretarial School in Saskatoon, SK. Upon graduation from Robertson, Dolores began work for Kramer Tractor in Saskatoon, SK. Dolores married Emery (Barney) Joseph Albert Bernard on June 1, 1957 at St. Vital Church in Battleford, SK. They were happily married for 38 years. Dolores worked for 18 years in the Accounting Department at the Ministry of Social Services in Prince Albert, SK. Upon retiring from Social Services, Dolores volunteered at St Joseph's Parish, Pineview Terrace and the Canadian Cancer Society. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Emery on November 24, 1995; her parents, Reynold and Ernestine; and three brothers, Conrad, Donald and Richard. Dolores is survived by her loving family: her son, Michael (Adriana) Bernard and their son, Miguel of Calgary, AB; her son, Ricky (Rita) Bernard and their daughters, Therese of Medicine Hat, AB, Maria and Renee of Calgary, AB; her daughter, Marlyn (Garth) Lynds of NS, and their son, Jay (Renzy) Monaghan of Cold Lake, AB, and daughters, Brianna Monaghan of Ottawa, ON and Stephanie Monaghan of NS; her sisters, Dorothy Evancio of Winnipeg, MB, Ellen (Nestor) Kelba of Cochrane, AB; Esther Magosse of Murray Lake, SK; Marlyn (Keith) Jensen of High River, AB; Luisa (Orland) Sivacoe of Calgary, AB; Cathy Nesselbeck of Calgary, AB; her brother, Erwin (Betty) Nesselbeck of Calgary, AB; and her sister-in- law, Meda Nesselbeck of Edmonton, AB. Friends are invited to pay their respects at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017 at River Park Memorial Chapel, 301 River Street West, Prince Albert, SK. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 260 25th Street East, Prince Albert. Interment to follow at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
