Diane Studebaker Reed, 70Muncie - Diane Studebaker Reed, age 70, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Monday, July 4, 2017.She was born on November 26, 1946 in Muncie to Bill and Delphine (Williams) Studebaker and graduated from Southside High School in 1964. She married her high school sweetheart, Brian Reed.Diane retired from the Delaware County Family Support Division. For many years previously, she was involved in the operation of The Town Club with her brothers.She loved spending time at her lake cottage in the summer and her winters in Arizona. Her happiest moments were with her family and friends, playing cards, traveling, fishing, and especially attending her grandchildren's activities. Most of all she loved taking care of others. She attended both Avondale United Methodist Church and The Garden at Gethsemane. Diane also enjoyed spending time with the girls from the Red Hat Club and her reunion committee from Southside High School Class of 1964.She is survived by her daughters, Shelley Moore (Greg Christopher) and Tracey Anderson (Dale); loving grandchildren Dustin Creekmore, Austin and Morgan Anderson and Mackenzie and Derek Moore (Jamie); great- granddaughter Audrey Moore; a brother, Dirk Studebaker (Lisa); sisters-in-laws, Linda Favors (Bill), Karen Marshall (Sam), Beth Robbins, Gale Wolf (Billy), and Carol Witt; brother-in-law, Rick Reed (Kris); and many adored nieces and nephews.Diane was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 29 years, Brian; three brothers, Danny, David, and Drew Studebaker; and a sister, Debby Carpenter.Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017.A Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at The Lodge, 12701 River Valley Road, Yorktown.
