Diane HornbeakHumboldt, TNShelby Diane Hayes Hornbeak passed away after a long fight at Bailey Park Community Living Center , Humboldt, TN on Sunday , June 11, 2017. She was the daughter of Eugene Howard and Bernice (Surles) Hayes and was born on March 5, 1951.Diane attended schools in Humboldt, TN and had various jobs throughout the area. She worked for the Shopper's News for over 20 years. Diane was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Bernice (Surles) Hayes, a brother Wayne Johnson and a nephew Roy Johnson.Diane is survived by: two sons Paul Christopher Alexander of Humboldt, TN and Jessie Dean Hornbeak (Heather) of Wilmore, KY ; a brother Jessie Howard Hayes (Sandy) of Humboldt, TN and three grandsons Lukas Alexander of Humboldt, TN, Emery and Oliver Hornbeak of Wilmore, KY; niece Laurie Reece (Doug) of Westmorland, TN; nephew Jeffery Johnson of Humboldt, TN and several great nieces and nephews.Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday June 14, 2017 from 5 until 8 pm and on Thursday June 15, 2017 from 10:30 until service time at Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home. Funeral services, will be held on Thursday June 15, 2017 at 12 noon with Terry Hansen officiating, graveside services will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery near Humboldt, TN.Donatitions in lieu of flowers will be appreciated to the Kirkland Cancer Center or the .
