Diane C. Lasko RACINE-Age 68, passed away peacefully after an illness with COPD and other health problems on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Diane was born on August 23, 1946 to Irvin and Dorothy (nee: Nelson) Woiteshek. On September 22, 1962 Diane was united in marriage to Dennis Lasko. They were married for 51 years until his passing on January 28, 2014. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Carthage College and graduated Cum Laude. Diane also obtained an accounting degree from Gateway. Before becoming ill Diane loved travelling. She enjoyed going on cruises and travelling in her RV. She liked sewing and she enjoyed shopping on QVC. Most importantly, Diane loved her family, and she cherished every moment she spent with them. Diane will be dearly missed by her daughters, Lisa (Gary) Stindle, and Linda (John) Casanova; her grandchildren, Erik Stindle, and J.T, Jennifer, and Jessica Casanova; brothers, Douglas Woiteshek, and Dr. Dwight (Maria) Woiteshek; her brothers-in-law, Bruce (April) Lasko, and Gary (Diane) Lasko; and her very good friend, Wanda Silvers. Diane also leaves behind other loving relatives and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Dorothy; and her loving husband, Dennis. Funeral services for Diane will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 12 Noon at Wilson Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 11 AM until the time of service at Noon. Interment will follow the service at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials in honor of Diane may be directed to the Racine Humane Society, 2706 Chicory Rd, Racine, WI 53403.
