Diana L. ClaggPataskala: Age 63, passed away at Mount Carmel East Hospital on Monday, August 21, 2017 following a courageous battle with breast cancer. Diana was born on October 13, 1953 to Vera Hobbs and the late Donald Hobbs. Diana attended Licking Heights High School. She devoted her young life to raising her three sons as a single mother, and for the past 17 years Diana worked for Kroger in Pataskala, OH, where she loved to chat with her fellow employees and customers. Diana loved to cook and delighted in sharing her favorite recipes with others. She loved to watch movies with her grandchildren and she was an avid football fan who always enjoyed watching games with her family. Diana is survived by her three beloved sons, Bryan, Shane, and Ty (Concetta) Clagg; five adoring grandchildren, Ariana, Christien, Colten, Nina and Connor Clagg; mother, Vera; three sisters, Peggy Carrier, Nancy (Mark) Smith, Catherine (Harold) Wedertz; brother, Ronald (Kimberly) Hobbs; several nieces, nephews and close friends; her favorite neighbors Dave and Wendy Dunlap, and her beloved pet "Shadow." The family would like to extend their thanks to the many doctors and nurses who helped to make Diana's final year more comfortable. Visitation will be held at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main Street, Pataskala, OH, on Friday, August 25, where the family will receive friends from 5-8 pm. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 26, at the funeral home with Pastor Phil Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Jersey Cemetery.
