Our beloved husband and dad, Dennis "Denny" Mishler of Tawas City, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013. He was born on Feb. 16, 1948 in Merrill, and grew up and graduated high school in Beaverton. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran. He was employed by Sears for 30 years. On July 29, 1967, he married Jan Timlick. He loved woodworking, and built and restored three of their homes. Denny was an avid deer hunter and outdoorsman. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. He was predeceased by his father, Jake Mishler; mother, Betty Mishler; and brother, Tom Mishler. Left to cherish their memories are wife, Jan; son, Scott; brother, Dave (Cindy); brother, Tim (Cindy); sister, Becky (George); brothers-in-law and families; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Tawas City with Pastor Johnathan Schnose officiating. His family will welcome friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
