DENISE ANN FELLER, 47 WATERLOO, WI - Denise Ann Feller, 47, of Waterloo, WI, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday March 4, 2015, with her adoring husband by her side. Denise was born on May 5, 1967, in Monroe WI, she was the daughter of Robert and Marilyn (Schreck) Detwiler. She spent her childhood on the family farm near Woodbine, IL, and later earned a degree in cosmetology. She worked as a beautician, a florist, and also spent time working in horticulture. On September 9th 1998, she married Chris Karl Feller. Denise was passionate about many of the pleasures that life has to offer. She was a zealous organic gardener, loved to travel, enjoyed eco trips to Costa Rica and fishing trips to Canada with her husband. She enjoyed painting and photography. Her appreciation for God's creation was deep and she found beauty in mother nature. Denise had an unwavering devotion to her 6 goddaughters. She loved spending meaningful time with Emily, Brianna, Haley, Karlie, Morgan, and Shannon, nurturing the girls with her motherly instincts. Her husband, Chris, found these words to be true: Proverbs 31:10-11 says, "An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain." Denise is survived by her husband, Chris Karl Feller of Waterloo; her parents, Robert and Marilyn Detwiler of Apple River, IL; brother, Brad (Becky) Detwiler of Stockton, IL; nieces and nephews, Josh, Mark, Ember, and Blaze; 6 Goddaughters, Emily Diehl, Brianna Friedrichs, Haley Grau, Karlie Hughes, Morgan Hughes, and Shannon Mallow. She is also survived by a number of other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents and father-in-law. The family would like to express their deepest thanks to Dr. Howard Bailey and staff of U.W. Carbone Cancer Center for their devoted and loving care for 20+ years. Memorials in Denise's honor would be appreciated and may be made to the Denise A. Feller Memorial Fund for Cancer Research at Farmers & Merchants Bank of Waterloo, WI. The proceeds will go to the U.W. Madison Carbone Cancer Research Center in her name. A celebration of Denise's life will be held at a later date.
