Reichenberger, Delphina Elizabeth "Del" 95, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Saturday, July 30, in Wichita, KS. Del was born on March 23, 1921 in rural Andale, the daughter of Mathias and Barbara (Rausch) Horsch. She was united in marriage to James Donald "Don" Bulger on March 17, 1945. Together they celebrated 24 years of marriage and had four children, including Shirley (Skip) Schwab of Wichita, Mary Sue (Dan) Wells of Salina, Betty (Michael) Sammer of Bella Vista, AR, and John Bulger of Salina. Following Don's death in 1969, she married Raymond Reichenberger on August 7, 1971. With this marriage, she was blessed with a second family of nine stepchildren, including Frank (Collette) Reichenberger of Independence, Larry (Susie) Reichenberger of Andale, Jeanne (Allen) Sippel of Sutton, NE, Patricia Reichenberger of Salina, "Jack" (Cheri) Reichenberger of DeSoto, Barbara Fox of Overland Park, Chris (Dave) Seiler of St. Mark, Paula (Robin) Friedrichs of Andale, and Robert (Becca) Reichenberger of Denver, CO. Fruits of her long life include 25 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. As a lifelong Catholic, Del received spiritual nourishment and strength through her faith. Over the years, she was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Manhattan, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ost, and most recently St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Wichita. Del loved flowers, gardening, and taking rides on the combine at the family farm. In her later years she lived at Grasslands Estates where she made many friends and enjoyed competing in Wii bowling, playing bridge and other card games, and playing in the handbell choir. Her special memories are being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Del was preceded in death by her parents; her spouses, Don and Raymond; brothers, Elmer, Marcellus, Donald, and Walter Horsch, and sisters, Sister Romana Horsch and Almeda Patry Nilles. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 4; Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 5, both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ost. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 6, at Sunset Cemetery in Manhattan. Memorials have been established with St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, and St. Joseph Catholic School, Ost.
