Della Madrid HernandezMarch 10, 1941 - March 22, 2014Della Madrid Hernandez, 73, of Nampa and formerly of Pocatello, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 after a long courageous battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis at the St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise. Della was born on March 10, 1941 in Montrose, Colorado. She grew up and attended schools in Southeast Idaho. She had six children. Della enjoyed scrap booking, quilting, sewing and ceramics. She was employed at Mercy Hospital from 1971 until 1998. Della is survived by 6 children, 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her step-father Refugio Guerrero of Pocatello, 2 brothers Roy Madrid of Arkansas and Phil Madrid of Pocatello, 4 sisters, Rachel Barela of Nampa and Mary Saiz, Rosemary Saiz, and Rosita Guerrero all of Pocatello. She was preceded in death by her mother Daisy Guerrero, granddaughter Xochilt Castellanoz and three brothers Tobias, Tony and Fred Madrid. A viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014 followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Avenue So. Nampa, Idaho. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday March 28, 2014 at the New St. Paul's Catholic Church, 510 West Roosevelt Avenue. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
