BURLINGTON - Debra Lee Thieme, 56, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee. Debra was born on September 11, 1955 in Chicago, IL, to Richard and Marilyn (nee Finucane) Miller. She was a lifetime resident and received her education in Burlington. On July 13, 1974 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Burlington, Debra was united in marriage to Dennis Thieme. Following marriage they made their home in Burlington. Debra worked as a cook at Lyons Elementary School and was a member of the Buck Trail Archers. She loved to garden, sew and cross stitch. She also enjoyed painting, reading and puzzles. Most of all Debra loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Dennis, their children; Jennifer Thieme and Chad (Amy) Thieme, all of Burlington, mother, Marilyn Miller, grandchildren; Eli Swanson, Ashley Swanson, Madison Thieme, Johnny Nelson and Autumn Nowicki, and by siblings; Michael (Patrice) Miller, Kimberly (John) Schindler and Chris (Kim) Miller. Debra is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard, a sister, Lynn Thieme, a brother-in-law, Bruce Thieme and by her niece, Stephanie Thieme. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home with Chaplain Lawrence Williams officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 4:00 PM until 6:30 PM. Burial will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 10:00 AM.
