Debra Ann Land1960 - 2015Riverton - Beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend, Debra Ann Mace Land, passed away on March 9, 2015, in Salt Lake City. She was born on Sept. 9, 1960, in Craig, Colo., to Lee F. Mace and Shirley A. Maricle. Debra's family moved to Vernal, Utah, shortly after Debra was born. She attended Uintah High School and graduated in 1978. She then attended Utah State University, which is where she met and fell in love with Wesley W. Land. They were married on Aug. 4, 1979, in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. After graduating from Utah State University, Debra lovingly taught kindergarten and preschool at Morningside School, in Logan, for 19 years. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings, including Primary, Young Women and Relief Society. Debra loved her savior, Jesus Christ, and had a strong testimony of him. She loved sewing and quilting and never missed an opportunity to go to a quilt store. Debra's top priority was her family. She loved being surrounded by and spending time with her family. Debra loved making friends and never missed an opportunity to share herself with others. We will all miss her greatly. Debra is survived by her husband, Wesley, her children Krista Slotto, Calley Auman, Alison Daybell, their spouses James Slotto, Aaron Auman, Paul Daybell, three grandchildren Lance and Aidan Auman and William Daybell, her mother, Shirley Mace, and her brothers Perry Mace and Charles Mace. A viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 15, at the LDS Foothills Ward, 5246 W. Gossamer Way, Riverton, Utah. A second viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, March 16, at the same location, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. Graveside services will be conducted at noon Tuesday, March 17, at the Logan Cemetery, 1000 N. 1200 East, Logan.
