David William Olsen Port ReadingDavid William Olsen of Port Reading NJ, peacefully passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at JFK's Hartwyck nursing and rehabilitation center, after a long battle with lung cancer. Son of David and Arlene Olsen, David was born on November 30, 1955 and was raised in South Brunswick N.J. Along with his seven siblings; Michelle, Darlene, Hans, Erica, Bryan, Darren, and Michael. David attended South Brunswick H.S. and worked alongside his father and brother Hans "Butch" in roofing and siding. David enjoyed bowling, building hot rods and his latter profession as the owner of Zap Scrap Recycling. David is survived by his father and seven siblings, his wife Diane, children Kevin Kronseder, Kyle, four stepchildren and many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, and his best friend Kenneth Herrel. David was preceded by his mother Arlene, and his stepson Craig Hill. Services will be held at Bunkerhill Lutheran Church 235 Bunker Hill Rd., Princeton NJ. From 10 AM to 11 AM immediately following is the celebration of life ceremony at the Moose Lodge 263 Old George's Rd. North Brunswick, NJ from 12-3 PM.
