SIDNEY — David Wayne Simindinger, 63, of Sidney, passed away at 2:23 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017, at his residence.
He was born on Aug. 30, 1953, in Lima, Ohio, the son of the late Charles Simindinger. His mother Viola (Fryer) lives in New Bremen, Ohio. In 1987 he was married to Alma Parke, who preceded him in death.
David is survived by five children, Howard Slagle, Rick Slagle, Jeff Slagle, Kathy Slagle and Chris Simindinger, all of Sidney; 23 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Simindinger, of New Bremen; and two stepbrothers, Chad Grear, of Spencerville, and Tony Grear, of Lima.
One stepbrother Bruce Grear preceded him in death.
David worked as a farmer and truck driver.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave.
