Born in Waltham, MA, Mr. Marshall was a son of the late Frederick Charles Marshall and Helen Perry Marshall. He worked as a Precision Sheet Metal Worker for Machining Services Inc.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years. Deborah Marshall of Athens; children, Frederick R. Marshall of Florida, David William Marshall Jr. of Athens and Tina Lee Turcotte (Ken) of Bogart; brother, Kenneth Marshall (Diane) of Florida; grandchildren, Brittani Lee Bone (Evan), Chelsie Ann Horton, Christina Marie Horton, Anslee Michele Horton, Ashley Marshall, Hope Madison Marshall and Shane Turcotte; great-grandchildren, Bevyn Ann Riel, Drake Tyler Marshall and Deion Marshall.

Mr. Marshall was cremated and no services are planned.
