David J. Marcus1939 - 2013David J. Marcus, 74, formerly of Kenosha, late of Aurora, Ill., passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013.He was born on Feb. 6, 1939, to the late Richard and Rose (Romano) Marcus (Marchese) in Maywood, Ill. He was educated in the schools of Maywood and graduated from Proviso High School.David worked at American Can Company in Maywood for a few years and then he worked repairing televisions.David enjoyed archery and making his own bows, traveling and going to movies. David had a warm and gentle heart.David is survived by his siblings Rosemary Mitchell of Downers Grove, Ill., Richard Marcus of Melrose Park, Ill., and Evelyn (Rich) Artman of Schiller Park, Ill., and his special nieces Dolly (Gary) Nation of Downers Grove, Ill., and Dorothy Hamrang of Duluth, Ga. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews and special friends Louis and Kris Piehl.He is preceded in death by his siblings John Marcus, Daniel Marcus, George Marcus, Lewis Marcus and Lucille Dunkel.A special thank you to the downtown Post Office for helping David with his mail.A Celebration of Life for David will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 5 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home.
