LaViolette, David PaulDavid Paul LaViolette, age 57, resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.Dave was born on April 26, 1955 to the late Carl and Elaine Chaloupka LaViolette. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1973. Dave was a very good carpenter and enjoyed his skill. He was self employed and also worked for other local contractors. On August 1, 1997, Dave married Sue Walesh in Manitowoc. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing, was an avid Packer fan, and above all, he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family and friends - especially his granddaughter, Alex. Dave was a member of Van's Athletic Club.Survivors include his wife of 15 years: Sue; three children: Carissa Mrotek and significant other Matt Grimm, Daniel Mrotek and significant other Jenny Czekala, Samuel LaViolette, all of Manitowoc; one granddaughter: Alexandra Mankovecky; four brothers: Lawrence (Maryann) LaViolette, Kenneth (Susan) LaViolette, Keith (Kris) LaViolette, and Gary (Shelly) LaViolette, all of Manitowoc; two sisters: Carol (Erwin) Bratz, Manitowoc; Debbie (Dennis) Spevachek, Bellevue; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Elaine LaViolette; also special pets: Chitty and Buddy.Memorial services will be held Monday, November 26, 2012 at 6 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m. Deacon Paul Kieffer will officiate. Cremation will have taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
