David Bennett1924 - 2013David Bennett, 89, of Kenosha passed away on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at his home. David was born on June 15, 1924, in Ottumwa, Ia., the son of the late David and Edna (Parkhurst) Bennett Sr. He was educated in the schools of Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana. David was a member of the U.S. Army. He was employed as a lab tester for many years at a steel mill in Gary, Ind. His hobbies included Ham Radio, going out to dinner, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his sister, Dorothy C. Williams of Indiana; and his niece, Linda (Joe) Fabis of Kenosha. A visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 2:30-4:30 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 4:30 p.m. Burial Evergreen Memorial Park, Hobart, IN.
