Darrel Lamont Bass was born on June 13,1967 to Lakerkle And James Bass in Boston Massachusetts At Mass General Hospital.  He transitioned from his earthly house on September 24,2019 at Boston Medical Center. 

He attended Boston Mass public schools. As an adult her served in the US army for 6 years where he was injured and honorably discharged.  It was then he met is wife Teresa Shepard, together the raised a total of 8 children.

Over the course of Darrell's life he enoyed watching his favorite football team Pittsburg Steelers, Spending time with his family, and Also writing poetry. 

He is preceeded in death by his father James Bass, and daughter Marsha Bass 

He leaves to carry on his legacy: His wife Teresa Shepard Bass Of Williamston N.C, Mother Lakerkle Bass Of Boston MA, 7 Children Shakenna Bass Of Williamston N.C, Keirra Bass Williamston N.C,  Derick Bass Williamston N.C , Shanieka Mcallister Of Williamston N.C, Ashley Shepard Of Charlotte N.C, Renita Johnson Of Denver CO, and Lashonda Shepard Of Williamston N.C. 1 Sister Christy Bass. And also 14 grandchildren that will all miss him dearly. Also a host niece nephews and other relatives and friends.
