Darlene Louise PerezSan AngeloDarlene Louise Perez, 51, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2017. She was born on Sept. 17, 1965, to William and Helen (Letterman) Pyfer at Hamilton AFB, California. Darlene found love with Celestino "Pepe" Perez and after four years together they married on June 24, 2011. She attended Cosmetology school and after years of doing what she loved she became an instructor at Texas College of Cosmetology, where she was currently employed. Darlene and Celestino lived in San Angelo, Texas.Darlene was an inspiration and mentor to all and she helped many students accomplish their goals and dreams. She was a ray of sunshine and had a smile and laugh that could brighten up a room. Darlene loved her family, the outdoors, and loved her dogs, Daisy and Milo. She touched the lives of many people and will be greatly missed by all. Darlene is survived by her loving spouse, Celestino Perez; brother William Jonas Pyfer Jr. of Colorado; sister Carisa (Roger) McCleery of San Angelo; father-in-law Celestino Perez Sr.; mother-in-law Juanita Perez; sister-in-law Amy (Jesse) Chacon; and three brothers-in-law, Manuel (Darlene) Perez, Albert (Roxanne) Perez and Ramiro Perez. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that loved her dearly.Pallbearers will be members of the family. Funeral service is at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Robert Massie Chapel with Jose Lopez of N-Faith Ministries officiating.
