Samse, Darlene C.Darlene C. Samse, 84, of Weston, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at St. Clares Hospital in Weston.Darlene was born on April 14, 1932 in Plymouth a daughter to the late Gilbert and Leila (Wieck) Samse. She grew up in Plymouth attending St. John Lutheran School and Plymouth High School. After the death of her father, Gilbert, her mother later married Albert Hochrein who was like a father to her. She had been employed at Cleveland Container. Darlene was a gentle and kindhearted person who enjoyed sewing, bingo and crafts. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth.Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Janice Samse Schaetz of Longview, Texas; a sister in law, Joan Samse Blair (Morton) of Sebring, Florida; many nieces, nephews, several cousins, friends and helpful caregivers. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, her brother, Ronald Samse, a brother in law, Donald Schaetz and a niece Cynthia Samse.A funeral service for Darlene will be held 3 PM, Tuesday, April 11 at Wittkopp Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Nathan Meador, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in the Plymouth Union Cemetery.
