Darell FleemanDarell William Fleeman, 79, passed away January 12, 2017 at Parkview Care Center in Bolivar, MO. Darell was born on October 22nd, 1937 in a small home Southeast of Fair Play to Ernest and Flossie Fleeman. Darell grew up in Fair Play and graduated from Fair Play High School. After high school, Darell joined the Air Force and served proudly for our country. After returning from Guam, Darell married Patricia Davolt in Fair Play, MO, where they built their lives together for 51 years. To this union one beautiful daughter was born. Darell retired from Southwest Electric Co-op in Bolivar, MO, a place very near and dear to his heart, considering most he worked with to be a second family. Darell was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved tinkering and was quite the inventor. He spent many hours professing his faith and giving his time generously to his church, Dunnegan Community Bible Church, where he wore the many different hats of song leader, elder, teacher, and was readily available to help at any given time. In their later years, Darell and Pat, spent several year full-time RVing, mostly Colorado the part of the country he loved the most. where they were blessed meeting many wonderful people and making lifelong friends. Darell is survived by his loving daughter, Stacie and her husband Fred of Piedmont, MO, and adored granddaughter, Haylee. He is also survived by his two sisters, Velma Vance of Bolivar, MO and Dean Courtney of Springfield, MO, along with a host of family and friends that will miss him dearly. Darell was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patsy, his parents, Ernest and Flossie Fleeman, and his brothers, Gary and Kyle Fleeman. Services for Darell Fleeman will be held 10:00 AM on Monday, January, 16, 2017 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO. A visitation will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM at Butler Funeral home in Bolivar, MO. Graveside services will follow the funeral at Barren Creek Cemetery under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home.
