Daniel Xavier Reepen passed away on March 11, 2016 at Seton Hospital in Daly City, CA. He died of a heart attack at age 57.
Dan was a lifelong resident of San Francisco, where he was born, raised, and educated. He attended St. Paul Grammar School, James Lick Junior High, and John O'Connell High School. He was a highly skilled sheet metal worker for 30 years and a member of Local #104. Dan was an enthusiastic fan of the Giants, 49ers, Warriors, and he was an avid golfer. He was a kind, funny and generous man. He was always willing to help family and friends. We benefited greatly from his talents as an all-around handyman, but even more from his personal warmth and soulful nature. Dan was well loved, and will be deeply missed.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Karen; his brothers: Ron and Bruno Reepen; and sister, Mary Lou Baird. Dan is also survived by nephews: John, Eric, Brandon, Evan and Christopher; niece, Gabrielle; and grandniece, Mika. He is predeceased by his parents: Henry and Matilde Reepen; and brother, George Reepen.
