Daniel "Dan" TomlinsonCrowleyDaniel "Dan" R. Tomlinson, 73, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, in Granbury, Texas. Graveside service is at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in Caddo Cemetery, Joshua, Texas. Memorials: Sympathy can be expressed in the form of donations to The Oaks of Granbury, 1017 Lipan Highway Granbury, Texas 76048.Dan was born on Oct. 5, 1943 in Bronte, Texas. He was one of nine children born to the late Warren Beal and Opal Dean Speer Tomlinson. Dan grew up in Bronte and graduated High School in San Angelo. He continued his education and attended college in Denton where he met his wife, Jennifer. They married in 1966 and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past Fall. Dan worked as an insurance salesman and self-employed business man, best known for his billboard sales along I-35 in Fort Worth. He loved the outdoors and all through life loved to fish. Dan is survived by his wife, Jennifer Tomlinson; daughters, Whitney Felty and husband, Todd and Jessica Janko and husband, Mark; brother, Warren Tomlinson; sisters, Geneva Simpson, Bobbie Arrott and husband, LeDrew, Wanda Duncan and husband, Donnie, Zula Blann and husband, Jess, Susan Guess and husband, Clifford; five grandchildren, Asher, Anna, Reese, Carson, and Hayden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
