January 19, 1964 - November 12, 2016Daniel L. "Danny" Torres, Jr., age 52 passed away on November 12, 2016. Danny was born on January 19, 1964 in San Antonio Texas to Daniel and Rosa Torres. He formerly served as a police officer in LaCoste, Medina County, Texas.He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Diaz Torres, Sr.Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Agatha "Aggie" Torres; children, Daniel Torres III (Anna), Jeremiah Torres, and Mariah Schenck (Tyler); grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaytie, Christian, Kelsie, and Isabella; mother, Rosa L. Torres; brothers, David Torres (Norma), and Ernest Torres; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.Danny was a classmate of Edison High School Class of 1982. He was an avid fisherman, loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, and he enjoyed dancing. Above all, he had immense love for God, family, and his beloved wife. Danny was a gentle spirit who loved everyone, and will be mourned by many.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Tres Hewell Mortuary located at 165 Tor Dr., Seguin, Texas 78155.
